Manchester United are negotiating with RB Leipzig for Benjamin Sesko, looking to change the structure of their bid, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Sesko saga has been ongoing over the last few weeks, with both Newcastle United and Manchester United in the race to secure his signature. United are in the market for a new centre-forward in the summer transfer window, with Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee flattering to deceive since their arrivals at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils have already been active in the market, bringing in Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo from Wolves and Brentford, respectively. A new striker will help complete their attack as they aim to head back in the right direction after such a disappointing 2024/2025 campaign.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Romano has claimed that Manchester United are negotiating with RB Leipzig over the transfer fee for Sesko. The Red Devils are changing the structure of their bid and are in direct contact with the Bundesliga side...
"Now, Manchester United, while I'm recording this video, might change any moment, are negotiating with RB Leipzig over the transfer fee. The bid was €75m + €10m. Newcastle bid was €90m, €80m plus €10m. Man Utd, €85m because €75m plus €10m. But I'm told Manchester United are changing the structure of this bid. They are in direct contact with RB Leipzig. As I always told you, Christopher Vivell was working on this deal because he knows the Red Bull group very well, but also Jason Wilcox being crucial once again, in these conversations, in these negotiations, and is also now taking care of the structure of the deal with RB Leipzig. To change, maybe the structure of the add-ons, to make it almost guaranteed the transfer fee, the main part of the transfer fee for RB Leipzig."

It appears the Sesko situation is edging closer to a conclusion, with United getting their new number nine. It looks set to be a similar deal to the one that saw Hojlund move from Atalanta to United, so the supporters at Old Trafford will be hoping that Sesko is more of a success and makes an immediate impact in this upcoming campaign.
