Florent Malouda
The winger was bought from the well-known Lyon dynasty of the 2000s and arrived in 2007. Mario Melchiot
The Dutchman arrived from Ajax as a right-back and had a tough time settling initially, as he had injury issues. After breaking into the first team he became the first-choice right-back for most of his time there, featuring in the squad that took the Blues to European Football in the mid-2000s.
