Former NFL All-Pro running back Tiki Barber will no longer work as an NFL analyst for CBS. Barber is out at the network and will instead work on the New York Giants radio network during the 2025 season.
The Giants announced the news last week, sharing that Barber will co-host pregame and postgame shows for WFAN for all Giants games.
“I am really excited to be joining the Giants gameday radio broadcast team on WFAN,” Tiki Barber said in a statement. “This organization has meant so much to me, professionally and personally.
“The Giants have a long history of legendary broadcasters and Wellington Mara always told them to call it like they see it because our fans know better. I look forward to providing analysis and insight that Giants fans appreciate.”
Barber had served as an NFL ON CBS game analyst since 2019. He has also previously worked on Football Night in America on NBC and helped with coverage of the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing for MSNBC.
Prior to getting into broadcasting, Barber starred at the college and professional levels on the football field.
He was named the ACC Player of the Year in 1996 after rushing for 1,360 yards and 14 touchdowns that season.
Barber was drafted by the Giants in the second round of the 1997 NFL Draft and went on to spend his entire career with New York.
He was named a Pro Bowler three times and earned first-team All-Pro honors in 2005.
Barber finished with 1,200-plus yards each of the final five years of his career, including during his final season in 2006 when he rushed for 1,662 yards.
He retired while he was still in his prime and one of the best running backs in the NFL in order to pursue broadcasting opportunities and because of the toll playing running back in the NFL was taking on his body.
