The race for Leicester City star Bilal El Khannouss continues to gather interest.
Leeds are one of the only clubs to actually make a formal approach over a move. It has been revealed that the 21-year old has a release clause this summer. However, the clause expires in over a week. If reports are to be believed, Leeds will play hardball, and could reportedly demand in excess of £25million. The club could also be forced into selling.

According to Sacha Tavolieri, a new condition for the deal has emerged. El Khannouss is not dead set on playing European competition football, which gives a huge advantage to clubs like Leeds United and Sunderland this summer.
Crystal Palace keen on move
Leeds are the only club to make an approach for the player so far. Other club have interest, but are only monitoring the situation from a distance. As reported above, Crystal Palace are keen on a move. But the Eagles also need to make some transfers to ensure they can move for the 21-year old.
Leeds need to close this deal fast
Leeds United need to move quickly to secure this deal. The club are currently the frontrunners after making direct contact with Leicester City over a move. The Whites need to learn from the Igor Paixao situation, where they waited for another club to make an offer before they submitted theirs.
Getting in an offer first shows intent, and if the offer is accepted, personal terms could be worked out before other clubs decide to make their move. El Khannouss is a very good player, and Leeds must show their ambition by signing him this summer.
