Tyler Dibling is training alone at Southampton as speculation over his future continues. Everton have had three bids rejected for the winger.

According to the Daily Echo the player is working “away from the first team as transfer talks with Everton continue” and “has not kicked up a fuss about leaving the club.”

It’s added that he has “not been banished” by new head coach Will Still, but is focusing on non-contact and fitness work ahead of Southampton’s Championship opener against Wrexham.

Dibling is said to be valued at around £50million by his club, although the Blues are not willing to pay that much for him.

According to David Ornstein of The Athletic, Southampton’s counter offer to Everton was a deal worth an initial £45m plus £5m in add-ons.

Saints also wanted a 25 per cent sell-on clause as part of the deal; Everton are now said to be considering other right-sided targets.

When asked about the player potentially moving on, Still conceded recently there was a chance he could leave.

“I have no idea to be honest,” he said. “The club have set a price and we have good players. Tyler is fine and just getting on with it.”

The 19-year-old impressed in bursts for Southampton last season, cutting in from the right wing on his left foot and causing problems for opposition defences.

He scored four goals in 38 appearances in all competitions.

Everton look set for a busy end to the transfer window. The club have completed the signing of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Chelsea for an initial £25m, while talks have also been opened with Manchester City over a deal for Jack Grealish.

Carlos Alcaraz, Thierno Barry, Mark Travers and Adam Aznou had previously joined.

Everton will play their final pre-season friendly of the summer on Saturday at their new Hill Dickinson Stadium against AS Roma (3pm kick-off)

They will then begin their Premier League campaign against Leeds United on Monday, August 18 at Elland Road.
