Alexander Isak has reportedly been asked to train separately from the Newcastle squad, as the uncertainty around his future continues to grow.
Liverpool are believed to be keeping a close eye on the situation as it looks to bring the Swedish forward this summer. Despite the Reds’ previous offer worth £110m being rejected by Newcastle, reports suggest Liverpool are ready to return with a stronger approach.
On the other hand, Isak might have already informed the club about his desire to leave. Reports claim that the player’s camp is prepared for a move to Anfield.

Why Alexander Isak has been told to train alone
Alexander Isak did not take part in Newcastle United’s group training session on Wednesday, according to Newcastle World. The Sweden international also missed a pre-planned family event arranged by Eddie Howe.
Reports suggest Isak is expected to arrive later in the day but not with the rest of the team. While it’s still unclear if the reason is related to transfer talks, what’s confirmed is—he didn’t train with the squad and was not part of the family function.
Interestingly, Isak was at Benton on both Monday and Tuesday of this week, participating in individual training sessions. However, the tone seems to have shifted, as he is no longer expected to join the group on Wednesday.
Following Newcastle’s 1-1 draw with Tottenham in Seoul, manager Eddie Howe addressed the situation in a way that hinted at a possible breakdown between the player and the club. Howe said: “You have to earn the right to train with us. We are Newcastle United.”
He added: “The player has a responsibility to be part of a team and part of a squad. You have to act in the right way.”
And finally, he made it clear: “No player can expect to act poorly and train with the group as normal.”
