What’s next for the Atlanta Hawks?
It’s not entirely clear where they are headed, but a few things are certain.
For starters, Jalen Johnson will be a part of anything they try to do in 2025-26.
Evan Sidery predicted that Johnson could be poised for an “All-Star breakout with the Hawks” in the new season.
Last season, he posted 18.9 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists on 50.0 percent from the field.
“Nikola Jokic, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Domantas Sabonis were the only players to match Johnson’s stats,” Sidery wrote.

Johnson was having the best season of his career when he got injured in January.
Sadly, he was only able to appear in 36 games, but he definitely made an impact during each of them.
The Hawks have been putting together a special, gritty team filled with stars who are looking to prove something.
Johnson has been an unsung hero for most of his career, but received a lot of attention last season, and now everyone will be watching closely in the new year.
He has been slowly and steadily improving his skills and becoming a focal point for the Hawks.
And he isn’t the only one, which is why Atlanta fans are so optimistic about what the future might hold.
There are a lot of questions about Johnson.
Can he remain healthy, and will he be able to build upon the success he found during his 36 games in 2024-25?
There is no reason to believe that Johnson will slow down.
It seems like he is reaching his true potential, and the Hawks are elated and ready for more.
