Chelsea have reportedly offered both Manchester United and Newcastle one of their players to sign this summer.
The Blues have been incredibly busy this summer as they look to build a squad capable of challenging the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City for the Premier League title.
After their Club World Cup win, many have tipped the Blues for success this season, especially as they have signed the likes of Joao Pedro, Liam Delap, Jamie Gittens and more.
However, seeing as Enzo Maresca‘s side has spent a lot of money this summer, they would also like to make a couple of sales to balance the books. One name whose future has been plunged into doubt is striker Nicolas Jackson.
After Chelsea signed Joao Pedro and Liam Delap, Jackson now has a much tougher route to becoming the first choice target man like he was last year. The Senegalese striker managed to score 13 goals and provide six assists in 37 matches.

Chelsea ‘offered’ Jackson to Man United and Newcastle
Amid the uncertain future of Jackson, it has now emerged that Chelsea reportedly offered him to both Newcastle and Man United, despite the fact they are Premier League rivals, and potentially rivals for a Champions League spot next year.
According to talkSPORT, Chelsea are willing to sell the 24-year-old forward this summer, but want a fee of £80m in return, as they still view him highly. Plus, Jackson is on a contract which is meant to keep him at Stamford Bridge until 2033.
Man United are closing in on a deal for RB Leipzig star Benjamin Sesko, who is also a target for Newcastle. However, if United manage to land Sesko, then the Magpies may be forced to go after Nicolas Jackson, especially if Alexander Isak ends up leaving to join rivals Liverpool.
Former Chelsea striker Daniel Sturridge however views Jackson as an important part of Maresca’s squad. The ex-England international was quoted in SportsKeeda earlier last season. He said: “Jackson is crucial to Chelsea’s system. I’m not focused on his statistics, what he brings to the team is immense.”
