Crystal Palace could look to offer Raheem Sterling an exit route away from Chelsea in the remaining weeks of the summer transfer window, according to reports - with the Eagles thought to be 'keeping tabs' on a potential move for the Premier League icon, after losing his way in the top-flight over the past two seasons.
Sterling has racked up an impressive 396 appearances in the top-flight since making his debut for Liverpool in 2012 as a 17-year-old, not playing in any other league in his professional career and scoring 123 league goals in the process. That experience has seen Palace take an interest, and a deal could be done by the end of the transfer window.

The England hero is training with a separate group of players at Cobham, in a cohort of stars that Chelsea are willing to send out on loan and away from Enzo Maresca's squad as we head into the new Premier League season.
Chelsea have made it clear that they want to sell Sterling this summer, with Palace keen on taking the £325,000-a-week star to Selhurst Park, and with the players' preference to stay in London, they are instantly seen as one of the favourites for his signature given his homegrown roots in the capital of the country.
Although his spell at Arsenal didn't quite work out as backup to Bukayo Saka, as well as his permanent move to Chelsea being shrouded in question marks, there is still a Premier League player in Sterling. He managed double figures in each of his final five top-flight campaigns at Manchester City before departing in 2022, showcasing his proficiency in front of goal.
Palace currently boast Ismaila Sarr, Matheus Franca, Romain Esse and Jesurun Rak-Sakyi as the players available to them in the wide areas, whilst Eberechi Eze can also play out wide - but with their star creator being linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium, it could open the doors for Sterling to replace him for a cut of the supposed £68million fee that he's been touted to exit for, along them to strengthen elsewhere.
