Everton have asked Manchester City about Jack Grealish, with a deal being discussed regarding a straight loan with no buy option, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Toffees are enjoying an exciting transfer window, with their latest addition being confirmed on Wednesday afternoon. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has now arrived from fellow Premier League side Chelsea, becoming Everton's fifth signing of the window.
Dewsbury-Hall joins Thierno Barry, Adam Aznou, Carlos Alcaraz, and Mark Travers in joining the Toffees on a permanent deal this summer. David Moyes will undoubtedly be hoping for more in the coming weeks, with his squad looking relatively thin despite their new additions.

The obvious issue with Grealish is his wages, with some reports suggesting that the England international is taking home around £300,000-a-week at Man City currently. The former Aston Villa winger has also endured a difficult period, struggling for game time under Pep Guardiola.
Limited minutes is understandable considering he's playing for one of the best sides in world football, and Grealish might just need a manager like Moyes to get him back to his best again. The tricky forward will likely be given a little more freedom to express himself with the Toffees, so it will be interesting to see if they can get a deal over the line.
