Tim Weah has joined Marseille on loan from Juventus with an obligation to purchase, the clubs have announced.
The Ligue 1 side will reportedly have a €14 million obligation to make the the U.S. men's national team winger's deal permanent.
The move ends a tumultuous summer that started when Weah rejected a transfer to Nottingham Forest in June.
According to Weah's agent, Juventus then blocked his desired move to Marseille as "revenge" for his refusal to join Forest.
But after Juventus CEO Damien Comolli claimed that Marseille's offer for the 25-year-old wasn't yet adequate, the two sides reached a breakthrough that sees Weah return to Ligue 1.

Weah has spent the majority of his pro career in France, joining Paris Saint-Germain at age 14.
The winger made his pro debut in 2018, joining Celtic on loan the following year before completing a permanent move to Lille.
Weah spent three seasons at Lille, helping the club to an unlikely Ligue 1 title in 2020-21.
After a 2023 move to Juventus, Weah made 78 appearances in all competitions for the Bianconeri.
Weah is coming off a season in which he scored a career-best six goals, adding five assists. After spending his first season in Italy playing as a wingback, the 25-year-old enjoyed a more productive campaign playing his more natural winger role.
But Weah was still unable to secure a regular starting role with the Bianconeri, beginning the match on 24 of his 43 total appearances in the 2024-25 campaign.
