Everton have been in talks to sign Southampton winger Tyler Dibling this month.
The Toffees have had a £43m bid rejected for Dibling and it has been reported that they’re exploring other options.
Southampton want £50m for the teenage winger, so David Moyes is now eyeing Manchester City’s Jack Grealish.
But, it now seems all hope is not lost to sign Dibling, as there is an encouraging update coming out of Southampton over the last 24 hours.
It proves Everton are still very active in negotiations.

There is a fresh update coming out of Southampton, and it’s understood Dibling is doing ‘no contact’ training due to transfer talks.
Evidently, Saints recognise their prized asset could secure them a substantial fee and aren’t willing to risk injury.

Tyler Dibling is indeed training away from Southampton's first-team squad, as @JackRosser_ reports, but has not been "banished" to the under-21s.
I'm told he's working on his fitness and is doing "no contact" training whilst negotiations are ongoing. #SiantsFC

Perhaps the Toffees are still working on a deal behind the scenes, despite suggestions that they’ve walked away.
Their last bid was £7m short of Southampton’s valuation, so they aren’t worlds apart by any means.
It’s certainly still one to keep an eye on.
Three Tyler Dibling alternatives Everton could turn to
Of course, Grealish is being eyed as a back-up target to Dibling, but that deal is thought to be very complicated, and it’d take a huge financial commitment from the Toffees regarding wages.
Real Sociedad’s Takefusa Kubo could come back on Moyes’ radar, and he would be a much more like-for-like alternative.
Kubo, like Dibling, primarily operates off the right wing and likes to cut in on his favoured left foot, although, he is a bit smaller and less physical.
Omari Hutchinson is another who Moyes admires, but Ipswich Town are holding out for around £40m to sanction his sale.
So, there are options out there for the Toffees, but none will come on the cheap, so they may decide to push the boat out and meet Southampton’s lofty demands.
