Fresh off a Premier League title win, Liverpool are pushing ahead with an ambitious summer overhaul, having already spent over £295million.
The Reds shattered the British transfer record by signing Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen for €125million and also landed Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt in a deal worth up to £79million.
In defence, Liverpool strengthened both flanks with the arrivals of Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth for £40million and Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen for £29.5million.
Alexander Isak remains a target, and Newcastle’s pursuit of Benjamin Sesko could prompt movement soon.
Isak missed pre-season due to a reported thigh injury but was recently spotted training at former club Real Sociedad’s facilities.
The 25-year-old has now returned to the UK but remains sidelined from the main group after receiving a warning from Eddie Howe.
Liverpool have been linked with Real Madrid’s Rodrygo this summer.
The 24-year-old’s future is in doubt after Kylian Mbappe’s arrival last summer, and the Reds have reportedly contacted his representatives.
However, a deal could be difficult due to high costs and strong competition.
The Premier League champions are now targeting PSG winger Bradley Barcola.
Liverpool have been tracking Barcola since last season.
The France international racked up 64 appearances, scored 21 goals, and provided 21 assists for PSG last term as they won their first-ever Champions League title after beating Inter Milan 5-0 in the final.
He’s not a regular under Luis Enrique, with competition from Dembele, Kvaratskhelia, and Doue.
PSG paid £43.6m for Bradley Barcola in 2023 and would want to at least double that fee, though they’re not actively looking to sell.
According to transfer expert Sacha Tavolieri, Liverpool are set to submit a concrete offer to Paris Saint-Germain for Bradley Barcola.
The Ligue 1 champions value Barcola around €100million.
