Ipswich Town have turned down a bid for Omari Hutchinson from Nottingham Forest.
The Premier League side offered £35million for the England under-21 international but Town have rejected the approach.

Ipswich boss Kieran McKenna said: “I think there’s interest in lots of our players. We’ve had some strong performances over the last few years. We’ve got different interest in different players, I won’t list them all.
“He’s certainly a player of ours who has interest from different clubs, but there’s nothing really to update. He’s an Ipswich player and the club has real goals this season and everyone who is an Ipswich player at the moment has to be fully ready to contribute to those and be ready to help us have a successful year.”
It means 21-year-old Hutchinson could yet feature in Ipswich’s opening game of the Championship season at Birmingham on Friday night.
However, that does depend on Hutchinson returning to training on Thursday after missing the last two days due to “a medical issue”.
Hutchinson didn’t feature in last week’s friendly at Auxerre but had trained with the squad at the start of this week.
McKenna said: “Omari was training on Monday and trained well and then unfortunately has had a medical issue for the last two days, so hasn’t been with the group.
“Hopefully, if there’s a good recovery from that, he’ll be with us on Friday night.”
Hutchinson originally arrived at Portman Road in 2023 on loan from Chelsea before making the move permanent last summer. He has also attracted interest from Brentford and Everton.
