The Dallas Cowboys are going through a memorable off-season. While fans thought that last off-season was eventful with the team extending Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb, this off-season has had just as many fireworks.
However, this year we have seen more drama than last year for sure.
“No, I Do Not” Cowboys’ Jerry Jones Takes His Disrespect For His Own Players To The Next Level (Report)

Cowboys’ owner Jerry Jones was asked yet again about Micah Parsons’ future with the team:
Speaking to the media after Tuesday’s joint practice with the Rams, Jones was asked if he expects the 26-year-old defensive end to be out there four weeks from now in the team’s season opener and Jerry didn’t mince words.
“No, absolutely not. A big part of that is his decision. How would I know that?” he said. Adding, “… No but I’m urgent.”
Jones reportedly has not talked to Parsons or his agent since their very public trade request on social media last week. But Micah has been in attendance at Cowboys training camp in Oxnard — albeit in street clothes.
Dallas’ star is heading into the final year of his rookie contract where he’s due to make roughly $21 million this upcoming season. However when it comes to talks of a long-term deal beyond 2025, conversations appear to have completely stalled.

Jones has alluded to the fact that he thought the two sides had an agreement back in March when he claims he offered “a hell of a lot more than you think I did” and “[guaranteed] somebody almost $200 million.”
He’s also spoken publicly about how other Cowboys players like Dak Prescott and DeMarcus Lawrence played on the final years of their contracts/the franchise tag without any issue in the past, and they were eventually rewarded with lucrative mega-extensions at the top of the market.
When the question was broached about whether he feels its on Micah and his representation to reach out it him, Jones said: “Y’all are getting what’s in the mind or what’s in the said. This is a good time. He’s subject matter. What it is is what it is. We’ll work through it, or we will not work through it.”
These weren’t Jerry’s first comments since Parsons’ trade request and they certainly won’t be the last. Now it’s just a matter of how long each side is willing to drag this out before a deal gets done.
