Okcpd releases info on shooting following NBA Finals in Scissortail Park

OKLAHOMA CITY (KSWO) - The Oklahoma City Police Department (OKCPD) has released further information about a shooting that took place following Game 7 of the NBA Finals.

According to OKCPD, the shooting took place following an altercation at Scissortail Park near the Paycom Center. There, officers found a 14-year-old juvenile suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Two days later, on June 24, officials say 20-year-old Kaziya Penn was arrested during a traffic stop when officers located a handgun in his vehicle, as Penn was also driving without a valid license.
