ATLANTA-- Junior forward Aaliyah Faddoul earns 2025 Preseason All-Sun Belt honors, the conference announced on Wednesday afternoon.
Faddoul's honors come after another standout season with the Panthers. Named the 2024 Preseason Offensive Player of the Year and 2024 Sun Belt All-Conference First Team Select, Faddoul Started in all 19 games for the Panthers, totaling 1667 minutes. She led the team with nine goals and three assists, totaling 21 points in her sophomore season.
The Ontario, Canada native put up 43 shots with 23 on goal, averaging 53.5 percent. She shot three game winning kicks, including matches against Kennesaw State (Sept. 5), at Louisiana (Oct. 27) and at Caostal Carolina (Oct. 31).
During her freshman campaign in 2023, Faddoul earned 2023 Sun Belt Freshman of the Year and All-Sun Belt Conference First Team honors after leading the team in points (20) and goals (7) and assists (6) in her freshman season. She also led the team in shots per game with 2.95, and kicked two game-winning kicks against ULM (Sept. 21) and Coastal Carolina (Sept. 24) to earn Sun Belt Player of the Week (Sept. 22).
