NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Tennessee Titans are going to get plenty of time to do some team bonding.
They embark on a 10-day road trip that takes them to Tampa Bay and Atlanta.
“Definitely never done anything like this,” said left tackle Dan Moore, Jr. “It’s very new to me, but I do think it’s a good time to bond as a team and spend some time on the road.”
The Titans will have a joint practice with the Buccaneers on Thursday, then will play their preseason game in Raymond James Stadium.
After that, they head to Atlanta for two more joint practices next week, before they face the Falcons in preseason game number two on Friday August 15.
“We’re going to be travelling this year to Las Vegas, Arizona, California, so this just brings the team together and gets us ready for road trips and away games,” said receiver Calvin Ridley. “It’s gonna be a road atmosphere.”
“We’re going to be around each other all the time. It’s going to build chemistry,” said safety Amani Hooker. “It should be a little uncomfortable, but that’s how the NFL is. It’s all about being uncomfortable and the mindset and you’ve got to approach it like a professional.”

Not to be overlooked on a trip of this length -- the roommate situation.
Cornerback Jarvis Brownlee understands its importance.
“I like clean-ness,” said Brownlee. “I like having fun. I got to have a fun roommate. We handle our business, watch film and then hop on some video games here and there. Then go to get something to eat. I hope I do get a good roommate. And if he ain’t clean, I got to move or he got to go.”
