Green Bay Packers’ rookie wide receiver Matthew Golden has been getting praises from analysts and even teammate Jordan Love over his potential upside. Should Jayden Reed and other older WR feel threatened?

Golden was picked 23rd in the last draft and already leaving his mark in few practices. QB1 thought he is ready for the big league.
“He came in really polished,” Love said, of Golden.
“He’s been making plays since Day 1. He’s got very aggressive hands, he’s a smooth route runner, he’s got speed.”
Has Love found his favorite? That’s what media is saying but for Reed who has been their top player in the position over the last years, there’s nothing to be worried about.
To him, presence of other reliable wide receivers will only make them better.

Jayden Reed on chemistry with QB1
While the public put the WR on a microscope, Reed is busy doing what he does best on the field.
He already volunteered to become the one who guides the rookie WRs. He is also busy working his chemistry with Love.
“Just connecting man,” Reed said after one play last week (h/t Green Bay website senior editor Mike Spofford).

“It was the two-minute drill so it was kind of our fast-pitch stuff.”
Other receivers in the line up are Christian Watson (not playing until November), Mecole Hardman Jr. (signed before the draft), Savion Williams (rookie), Romeo Doubs (on his contract year).
