Rocky standout, former NBA player Chasson Randle named to Stanford Hall of Fame

ROCK ISLAND, Ill. (KWQC) - Chasson Randle, the Rock Island High School standout who made it to the NBA, will be inducted into Stanford’s Hall of Fame Class of 2025.

According the the university, he holds the record for all-time leading scorer for the Stanford basketball program with 2,375 career points. He led the Cardinal to a Sweet 16 appearance in 2014 and two NIT championships in 2012 and 2015. He was named the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player.

He’s returned to Quad Cities to host youth basketball camps.

He went undrafted after graduating in 2015, but he played overseas.

He was drafted in 2016 by the Philadelphia 76ers. He’s also played for New York Knicks, Washington Wizards, Golden State Warriors, and Orlando Magic.

Stanford will hold the ceremony on Sept. 26.
