Manchester United are looking to wrap up a deal for Benjamin Sesko in the summer transfer window.

Sesko could be on his way to United
Manchester United are confident Benjamin Sesko will opt for a move to Old Trafford over St James' Park, but anything can happen in the transfer window.
Until that contract has been signed, there will be no temptation to tick 'sign a striker' off the summer to-do list, especially if there's sudden movement in Liverpool's pursuit of Alexander Isak that has a knock-on effect on Newcastle's chase of Sesko.
Whether Sesko is the answer to United's goalscoring woes remains to be seen, but failing to sign an upgrade on Rasmus Hojlund simply wasn't an option. Too much was expected of the Dane too soon, and the Manchester Evening News reported on Wednesday that he is resigned to being forced out of the club if Sesko signs.
Sesko has earmarked this summer as his time move on from RB Leipzig after two years with the Bundesliga outfit, and his agent, Elvis Basanovic, has been keen to fill as many column inches as possible with his client's name.
Speaking recently, Basanovic explained what Sesko would be looking for when choosing his next destination, saying: "He will move from RB Leipzig only when we recognise a special club. A special project with a special coach."
So, do United fit the bill? One of their summer recruits certainly seems to think so.

Matheus Cunha joined Ruben Amorim at the first press conference on United's pre-season tour of America last month.
During the press conference, Cunha was asked why he chose United, and he replied: "It's an easy question to answer: United was always my dream club. When you can make your dreams come true, it's an easy decision.
"Ruben was a big part, he talked to me and showed how important I was to him so it was easy to make the choice."
He was then asked how he intends to cope with the pressure of representing a club of United's stature. He replied: "The pressure in this club is not pressure, it's a privilege. This is one of the biggest clubs in the world. When Ruben came to me and showed me the project I feel like it is a challenge I want for my career. United needs to be there and I want to be part of the process."
Cunha's articulate responses show just what is on offer for any player of interest to United.
The chance to be part of a project that hopes to take one of the biggest clubs in the world back to the summit of English football is one not to be missed, and in Amorim they have a manager with the character and charisma needed to spearhead said project.
If Sesko wants a special club, a special project and a special coach, he need look no further.
