A sustainable construction firm which has worked with the likes of Chelsea FC and Battersea Power Station has invested in a South East-based business known for its green 'living walls'.
Eco Green Group now holds a "significant stake" in Chichester's Growing Revolution – the company behind the stackable PlantBox vertical garden system for homes and offices.
The group were attracted by Growing Revolution's recent move into the Dubai market as it looks to branch out from domestic to commercial customers, as well as its high-profile presence at the Chelsea Flower Show, which caught the attention of King Charles and Queen Camilla.
Both companies will maintain their distinct business models and client relationships through the deal, with an aim to collaborate on future projects.
"This partnership with Eco Green Group represents a significant milestone for Growing Revolution," said Richard Sabin, managing director of Growing Revolution.
"By joining forces, we're combining our expertise to accelerate innovation and broaden the reach of sustainable green infrastructure solutions across urban environments.
"Eco Green Group's investment will enable us to expand our product range through renewed research and development, as well as by introducing carefully selected, sustainable products from other innovators.
"We're collectively committed to advancing green infrastructure that benefits both people and the planet."
Keith Hills, founder of Essex-based Eco Green Group, added: "This deal is a very exciting chapter in our company as we set out to expand our green offering.
"We're focused on creating greener, smarter buildings that support biodiversity and bring real, lasting value to the people who use them.
"Richard and his team at Growing Revolution have developed truly innovative solutions that align perfectly with our vision of creating sustainable, biodiverse urban spaces across the UK.
"Together, we're looking forward to pushing the boundaries of green infrastructure and making a real difference in how cities integrate nature."
