Leeds United possess several strikers on the periphery, but one of them is nearing an Elland Road exit.
Mateo Joseph, Patrick Bamford and Joe Gelhardt are all expected to leave Leeds, with opportunities to be sparse in the Premier League.
The former did make a wealth of appearances last season, but most of those came from the bench.
Now, he is closing in on a move away from the Peacocks, as the details of the potential move have emerged.

The 21-year-old has taken a stand on his future amid constant speculation over a move to Spain.
So far, the Whites have remained tough on their stance on the forward and will not allow him to go cheaply.
Real Betis have been pushing hard to sign Joseph, although they have been unable to match Leeds’ asking price.
Now, it appears that Betis’ league rivals are to steal a march on them by landing the Spaniard in a different deal – a surprise given it looked for so long he’d end up at Betis.

That is because Mallorca and the Peacocks are holding advanced talks for the simple loan of Joseph, according to Matteo Moretto (6 August).
The journalist reports via X (6 August) that the Yorkshire outfit have rejected all transfer proposals received in recent weeks.
However, the only solution that Leeds are considering is a loan without a purchase option.
The La Liga club are said to be well-positioned and are set to beat their rivals to land the 21-year-old.

Joseph loan move perfect for Leeds
While the Spain Under-21 international wants out of Elland Road, a loan deal would be an ideal scenario for the Whites.
Joseph is a player with vast potential, and although he is yet to show it, his career could yet take flight.
If he were allowed to leave Elland Road for a low fee, then there is every chance he could improve, and his valuation would rise.
However, a loan deal would allow him to play first-team football, and it would give Leeds the chance to assess his future.
