Manchester United’s move to sign Benjamin Sesko is set to shake up the Premier League.
Benjamin Sesko is ready to complete his spectacular move to Manchester United, as soon as a fee is agreed with RB Leipzig.
Fabrizio Romano reported Sesko has agreed personal terms with United, with talks ongoing between clubs to finalise the deal.
Sesko is regarded as one of the best young strikers in European football, and could emulate Alexander Isak’s success in the Premier League.
The striker’s decision to join Manchester United is a ringing endorsement of Ruben Amorim’s project.

Benjamin Sesko’s agent made vital promise about transfer
Benjamin Sesko has been carefully plotting his next career move, turning down a move to the Premier League in 2022 and also in 2024, preferring to gain more experience first.
Sesko’s agent Elvis Basanovic told Give Me Sport at the start of the summer that they were assessing his future very carefully, and would only sign for a project and coach they believed in fully.
Basanovic said: “He will move from RB Leipzig only when we recognise a special club, a special project with a special coach.”

Now set to sign for Manchester United, this is a major vote of confidence in Ruben Amorim’s coaching credentials, and the project the Red Devils are building.
United have not simply targeted Sesko and asked him to turn last season’s poor form around. The club have added top Premier League players Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo, to put the striker in the best possible position to succeed, in a completely revamped attack.
Recruitment chief Christopher Vivell may have made the difference. He signed Sesko for Salzburg, and also facilitated his move to Leipzig.
He is the perfect figure to sell Sesko and his agent on Manchester United’s project, with his connections to the forward dating back years.
Sesko is ‘special’, claims agent
It’s understandable Basanovic would want to talk up his client, and this is exactly what he did, backing the forward.
He explained: “Sesko is not just a striker, he is a special striker. His numbers at his age compared to some strikers with already great careers at his age are confirming my words.”
Sesko idolised former United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and his penchant for scoring spectacular goals shows he has a chance to emulate the Swede.
His main task during his upcoming career at United is to become consistent, and relentless, and put together the goal numbers to back up the substantial fee the club are set to pay.
