Man Utd aim to complete their fourth signing of the summer transfer window and here is the latest news.

The 22-year-old has already agreed personal terms over his proposed move to Manchester this summer after he informed his club he did not want to join Newcastle. The Bundesliga club had already accepted a bid of €82.5 million plus €2.5m in add-ons from Newcastle and have yet to agree to a deal with United.

There is confidence from all parties that Sesko will become a United player in the final month of the summer transfer window, with Leipzig resigned to the fact he has played his final game for the club. Sesko was left out of the Leipzig squad for their friendly match against Atalanta last weekend and is set to train alone until his future is resolved.

In a social media post on Thursday morning, transfer guru Fabrizio Romano issued an update on the Sesko deal and confirmed the striker would not be required to report for training while talks continue. "Manchester United and RB Leipzig, back in talks today for Benjamin Šeško deal to agree on final package," he posted on X. "Šeško agreed personal terms yesterday and will train separately until deal is done between clubs."

The news came a day after Romano also revealed that United had agreed to personal terms with Sesko over his proposed move to Old Trafford. Ruben Amorim only wants to sign players who are fully committed to his project and the Slovenian striker made it clear he wants to be a part of it.

"Benjamin Šeško has reached total agreement with Manchester United on personal terms," Romano posted on X. "Contract until June 2030. Šeško wants to join United, clear feeling revealed yesterday here. Never gave similar indication to other clubs. Club to club talks with RB Leipzig continue."

The proposed transfer could spell the end for Rasmus Hojlund at Old Trafford, despite the fact he is adamant he wants to fight for his future at the club. United want to get rid of Hojlund and they are prepared to sell him for just £30m this summer if an appropriate offer comes in. The Danish international might realise it is in his best interest to go once a replacement arrives, with no guarantee of regular playing time next season.
