Kay Adams Wants Vita Vea Involved In Goal Line Offense

Kay Adams Wants Vita Vea Involved In Goal Line Offense

August 7th, 2025

Cool idea.

Joe remembers when Chucky was coach, he’d often use Warren Sapp, a former tight end, all over the place on offense in goal line situations.

Sometimes, Sapp played tight end. He caught a touchdown pass once and did a Beyoncé dance to celebrate.

Sometimes, Chucky had Sapp at fullback. And you thought trying to tackle Mike Alstott was tough!

Yesterday, FanDuel TV personality Kay Adams was taping her show from One Buc Palace. Of all the people she interviewed was Vita Vea, who is about the toughest interview on the roster.

But she was able to get Vea to open up, though she had to work it.

Adams made it perfectly clear to Vea: He must lobby Bucs offensive coordinator Josh Grizzard to give him snaps in goal line offense.

Like she told Vea, who is going to want to try to eff with him as a fullback? Vea said that decision was above his pay scale and Adams seemed to think she may have to go to Bucs coach Todd Bowles and do some lobbying on behalf of Vea.

You can see the conversation below. Joe doesn’t think it is a dumb idea. You don’t think, with all the passing weapons the Bucs have, a defensive coordinator isn’t going to soil himself seeing Vea trot out onto the field?

Somebody damn sure is going to be open, no doubt about it. LOL

Joe remembers Bucco Bruce Arians using Vea as a fullback. And he caught a touchdown pass in Atlanta in 2019.

A new Offensive Coordinator with the Bucs gives us a new opportunity to push the agenda:
