While he's been involved in numerous trade rumors, with the Sacramento Kings being named as the most likely suitor for the 22-year-old, his next team could also impact the future of another player linked to the Kings.
According to SacTown Sports 1140, the Kings' pursuits of Jonathan Kuminga and Russell Westbrook are correlated.
"We do know this: For the Westbrook thing to happen, the Kuminga thing would almost definitely have to happen," SacTown Sports reports.

"If Kuminga came in, it would give them a sorely needed person at the four, a guard would be coming out, which now creates an open spot, and they have their full mid-level exception that they could use on Russell Westbrook, who they’ve been talking to for a while," they add.
Kuminga was drafted in 2021 by Golden State, and last season he averaged 15.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 2.1 assists in 54 games played.
Meanwhile, the 36-year-old Westbrook finished his first season with the Denver Nuggets, averaging 13.3 points, 4.9 rebounds, 6.1 assists, and 1.4 steals over 75 regular-season games.
