According to a claim in the Turkish media, Besiktas are showing interest in Aston Villa attacker Leon Bailey.
The Jamaican international has already been linked with a move to the Super Lig this summer following claims Fenerbahce were considering signing him.
Turkiye Gazetesi today on Besiktas pursuit for the Aston Villa man as Ole Gunnar Solskjær looks to add to his attacking options ahead of next season.
During this transfer window, Besiktas have brought in Tammy Abraham on loan from AS Roma, along with João Mário from Benfica. Solskjær now needs to address the right-hand side of his forward line, and it seems Bailey is a strong possibility.
It’s claimed the Black Eagles are preparing an offer for the Aston Villa winger, which could arrive in the coming days. At this stage there are no indications of what the Super Lig club are likely to bid or if transfer talks are set to commence.
Bailey made 38 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring two goals. He’s contracted to Villa until June 2027, with the option to for another season.
