Former Gunners star Ray Parlour has opened up and claimed that ARSENAL should look to cash in on Leandro Trossard this transfer window and add Crystal Palace attacker Eberechi Eze to the attack.
Arsenal have been doing alot of transfer business have signed quite a few players and have spent over £200 million on new players already, but they are very interested in trying to get a transfer deal done for the impressive Eze.
Eze has established himself as one of the best attacking midfielders in the Premier League, helping Palace land a historic FA Cup trophy last term. The 27-year-old has played a total of 167 games for Palace to date, registering 40 goals and 28 assists for the south London club.
It has been claimed that Arsenal are willing to pay over £60 million to get a deal done for Eze, but so far a move has not happened and that is probably because the Gunners need to sell before making a move.
Trossard has been a very god player for Arsenal since he arrived at the club, but there has been talk that he could be one player that is sold this summer, and according to Parlour, the Gunners should let him go to sign Eze.
Asked whether one of Trossard would be an acceptable sacrifice for Eze, former Arsenal midfielder Parlour told Sports Mole: ‘Yes, I think so.
‘Eze is a very impressive player; hugely talented and creative, he can score goals too.’
IcFootballnews Says…
ARSENAL have been linked with a move for Eze over the past few weeks, but no formal offer has been made, so that suggests that the Gunners are more than happy with the squad and a move for the player may not happen.
But it will be interesting to see where he ends up if he does leave Palace.
