Benjamin Sesko will face a raft of stringent new regulations should he complete his switch to Manchester United.
The Red Devils are edging closer to securing a £74million agreement for the RB Leipzig frontman.
Despite fierce interest from Newcastle United, Sesko is understood to favour a switch to Old Trafford.
And with Manchester United reportedly resuming discussions with Leipzig on Thursday, an agreement could be finalised imminently.
However, the 22 year old may face a rude awakening should he arrive in the northwest, given how Ruben Amorim has wasted little time establishing his authority since arriving last November.
The Portuguese boss has introduced a series of fresh regulations since replacing Erik ten Hag, with ambitions of transforming United's fortunes.
The first significant regulation that the 40 year old introduced upon his appointment was prohibiting his coaching staff from delivering complicated instructions, with the philosophy that matters need to be streamlined before being communicated.
He also chose to forbid players from treating international breaks as vacation periods, after Marcus Rashford and Casemiro travelled to the United States in November for leisure following their omission from their respective national squads.
Amorim commented on the alterations: "We as a club have to set the standards and manage that. It's my decision if they can have five days, or three days, or three days to rest and you cannot fly. This is something that us as a club have to decide. So this must be started in the club, with us and me being responsible in that area."
Amorim has implemented a strict no-food policy in the dressing room on matchdays, emphasising his focus on physical fitness. Additionally, he's introduced a rule where the losing team in training sessions must tidy up the equipment used.
Ahead of the new season, Amorim has raised the bar following a disappointing Premier League campaign that saw Manchester United finish 15th. Diogo Dalot has warned that the club may not be suitable for everyone under the current regime.
Discussing Amorim's approach, the Portuguese international stated: "If you want to be in Manchester United, you need to match some standards. If you can't match them, it's not a place for you. The message is really clear."
Amorim's squad have made a promising start in his first pre-season at the helm. The Red Devils managed a goalless draw against newly-promoted Leeds United last month, before setting off on their Premier League Summer Series tour of the United States.
They clinched 2-1 and 4-1 victories over West Ham and Bournemouth, along with a 2-2 stalemate against Everton. The team are now preparing to return to Old Trafford for a clash with Fiorentina on Saturday, ahead of their Premier League curtain-raiser against Arsenal on August 17.
