Newcastle United could be facing more transfer frustration as Brentford star Yoann Wissa is now a target for Al-Nassr.
That’s [according to L’Equipe](https://www.lequipe.fr/Football/Actualites/Mercato-al-nassr-active-la-piste-menant-a-l-attaquant-de-brentford-yoane-wissa/1583656), who report that the Saudi Arabian have added the Brentford forward to their transfer wish-list.
Wissa has been a target for several Premier League clubs this summer already as the exodus from Brentford continues.
Newcastle and Tottenham, as well as Saudi side Neom, have been in contact for weeks about a transfer according to L’Equipe.
Indeed, this has been reported in the UK also, with Newcastle already seeing bids rejected by Brentford, who have set a high asking price on their man.
L’Equipe say that asking price hasn’t been revealed by Al-Nassr are now willing to meet it regardless. Officials at the Saudi club are now discussing ways in which to convince Brentford, the striker and his entourage to join Cristiano Ronaldo’s side.
It appears they are yet to make an official offer, but it could be around the corner and Brentford face the prospect of another big departure after the exits of Bryan Mbeumo, Mark Flekken and Christian Nørgaard.
