Graham Potter could make three changes for West Ham against Lille, with Nayef Aguerd one of those expected to miss out.
The lack of optimism raised from the lack of transfer activity has been somewhat subdued by West Ham’s pre-season results so far this summer, with three wins from four games.
Potter’s side secured a 2-0 victory against Bournemouth in the Premier League Summer Series last time out, with Niclas Fullkrug and the ever-reliable Jarrod Bowen on the score sheet.
West Ham will be looking to end their pre-season on a high when they face Lille on Saturday (9 August), and a few changes may be made in order to achieve that.

West Ham could part ways with Aguerd this summer
Potter is unlikely to make many defensive changes against the Ligue 1 giants, but one could see Aguerd drop out of the team in favour of a return for Konstantinos Mavropanos.
MORE WEST HAM STORIES
Aguerd has been linked with an exit from the London Stadium, and may have already played his final game for the Hammers, with Sunderland said to be keen.
Malick Diouf impressed on his last outing for the Irons, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka expected to start on the opposite side of an otherwise unchanged backline.
Edson Alvarez and Guido Rodriguez were both on the bench against the Cherries, and only the former was afforded any minutes, though they could partner each other in midfield against Lille.

Bowen set to play another huge role for West Ham
Lucas Paquetta was recently cleared of charges in relation to a betting allegation, and his inclusion is expected at the London Stadium when Lille visit.
Fullkrug will almost certainly start ahead of the Brazilian, with Bowen playing alongside him to form a two-man striker partnership.
The latter is certainly more effective off the flank, but with Potter’s reluctance to utilise width, it looks as though it will be another season through the middle for the England international.
