PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- It's been about six months since the Philadelphia Eagles took home the Lombardi Trophy, and now, we can officially say football is back!
The Birds will play their preseason opener at the Linc against the Cincinnati Bengals Thursday night.
Since it is the preseason, we likely will not see many of the starters in action, if at all.
Training camp has been grueling for the team, with the offense and defense going at each other to prepare for real competition.
Defensive coordinator Vic Fangio and new offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo are working together.
Thursday's matchup begins at 7:30 p.m. at Lincoln Financial Field.
We'll have full coverage on Action News, as well as an analysis from our friend Sal Paolantonio on how the Birds look on Friday morning.
