Chelsea are not usually the first club that comes to mind when you talk about Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The Gabon international became popular across Europe for his performances at Borussia Dortmund. Then, he became a star at Arsenal and almost single-handedly won them the FA Cup.
Aubameyang fell out with Mikel Arteta and was pushed out of the club in 2022. He joined Barcelona then, but after just six months there, he was sold to Chelsea.
It’s safe to say that the striker did not enjoy his time at Stamford Bridge one bit.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang makes his feelings about Chelsea clear
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang spent just one season at Chelsea.
The Blues, who were managed by Thomas Tuchel at the time, signed the striker from Barcelona for a little over £10 million.
Aubameyang had worked with the German in the past at Dortmund and shared a fantastic relationship with him. However, Tuchel was sacked just a few days later.
That complicated things for the Gabon star, who had a really disappointing season, first under Graham Potter and then Frank Lampard.
Less than a year later, Aubameyang left Chelsea for Marseille, and his comments now suggest that he really disliked his time at Stamford Bridge.

In a Q&A on The Residency on Wednesday night, a fan asked Aubameyang: “Would you go back to your Chelsea days?”
The 36-year-old replied: “No way, man!”
In the same Q&A session, he was asked which club he would go back to if he got the chance – Arsenal or Chelsea?
Aubameyang said: “Arsenal, easy.”
To add more salt to the wounds, when asked what colour London is, he replied: “Red!”

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s stats at Arsenal and Chelsea compared
Aubameyang could’ve been a legend at Arsenal.
The attacker was an absolute fan favourite at the Emirates, and he was even named as the club captain by Unai Emery after Granit Xhaka was stripped of the armband.
Aubameyang initially had a tremendous relationship with Arteta too, and the pair won the FA Cup and Community Shield together in 2020.
However, everything changed after he fell out with the Arsenal manager.
Games Goals Assists

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at Chelsea 21 3 1
As the table above tells you, Aubameyang’s Chelsea career was a disaster, and it is no surprise that he is not too fond of the club.
With Arsenal, however, even though things did not end well, he had a lot of great moments in the famous red and white and is still appreciated by some fans there.
