Nottingham Forest have been consistently looking for extra options out wide, with Strasbourg star Dilane Bakwa now emerging as a top target.
Forest have made an offer for Bakwa worth a reported £24m which was rejected by the French side, who are looking for a fee closer to £30m for their wide gem.
Despite Dan Ndoye making the move to Forest, extra options out wide are still required to cover the departure of Ramon Sosa, as well as Jota Silva’s potential move to Sporting CP.

Who is Dilane Bakwa?
Dilane Bakwa was born on the 26th of August 2002 in Créteil, France. Playing on the right side of midfield, the winger has spent his professional career at Bordeaux and Strasbourg thus far.

Bakwa has developed a reputation for being an effective wide player from the right, producing double-figure goal contributions in every full season he has played in senior French football.

Since then, he has been steadily improving on already solid numbers at Strasbourg, with the 24/25 campaign in particular showing his creative strengths with 1.69 chances created per 90 in Ligue 1, as well as 1.79 successful dribbles.
How much does Dilane Bakwa earn?
According to Capology, Bakwa is estimated to be earning nearly £12,000 per week on his current deal at Strasbourg. Therefore, Evangelos Marinakis could comfortably offer him an increased salary without breaking the bank.

With Strasbourg a sister company of Premier League giants Chelsea under the umbrella of BlueCo, the clubs often do transfer dealings with each other, as seen with former Forest loanee Andrey Santos’ successful period with the French side.
