In addition to Allen Kennett V, who earned an offer after Irish Invasion, as well as a previous article we did about Golden State prospects, here's a look at three more prospects in California who are legitimate Notre Dame targets for the Class of 2028.
Treyvone Towns Jr.
Towns threw well at Irish Invasion, Notre Dame has been in-contact with him, and by Pot of Gold Day next year, it's easy to see him landing an offer then, if not sooner. Towns had a great freshman season with 2,178 yards and 20 touchdowns on a team that finished 9-4 last season. He is very good at throwing on the move, buying time with his legs and pulling the trigger. I expect him to have a great sophomore season.
Ayden Edwards
Ayden Edwards has a rocket arm. He throws the deep ball with excellent accuracy. He can also drop it in the bucket in the intermediate game, has a quick trigger and throws with good velocity over the middle of the field. He finished last season with 867 yards passing and 10 touchdowns, but I'd expect a breakout season is on the horizon.
Jalen Flowers
Jalen Flowers starts on both sides of the ball. He is an outstanding defensive back with great coverage skills and the ability to close on the ball. He can high-point, leap, and win contested catches. On offense he flashes being a speedy receiver who can create on his own as a route runner. He registered 10 pass breakups and one interception with 25 tackles as a freshman. He already holds 12 offers.
