Arsenal and Konami extend multi-year partnership

We have agreed an extension to our partnership with KONAMI, which sees a continuation of the collaboration that has lasted over eight years and means KONAMI remains our Official Football Video Gaming Partner.

As a celebration of the continued partnership and men’s first team captain Martin Odegaard becoming a new Club Ambassador, players can obtain a free Highlight: Martin Odegaard player card and Avatar within eFootball™ from August 7 to 13.

Supporters will also continue to see us featured as one of the core clubs in the game, with club kits and Emirates Stadium included to provide the ultimate experience for players.

The renewal also means KONAMI retain multiple commercial rights across the club, including promotional access to players and the use of official club branding and imagery in the eFootball™ series.

Shinji Namekawa, Konami Digital Entertainment B.V.’s European President, commented: “We are proud to be extending our partnership with such an iconic club. Arsenal Football Club represents excellence on and off the pitch, and we are excited to continue this journey together.

"Our commitment remains to continuously evolve and enhance eFootball™, and this continued partnership is a clear indicator of those efforts.”

Juliet Slot, our Chief Commercial Officer, added: “We are incredibly proud of our longstanding partnership with KONAMI, and we’re excited to begin this next chapter of our journey together. The longevity of our partnership reinforces our shared values of innovation and progress, and we’re pleased to ensure Arsenal is a core part of the game for years to come.”

As part of the partnership, we have featured prominently in the eFootball™ Championship every year since 2022, and supporters have enjoyed a range of exclusive in-game and real-world experiences – from Emirates Stadium activations to special content drops tailored for eFootball™ players.
