Welcome to KUMB's latest transfer rumour round-up - five stories from around the web featuring players potentially on West Ham's shopping list, or current Hammers on the radar of other clubs...

Mads Hermansen

"On not him again!", we hear you cry. However according to sources, West Ham and Leicester are close to reaching agreement over a transfer fee for the former Brondby stopper, who is said to have already given the green light to a move from the King Power (and why wouldn't he?)

Leicester have been holding out for in excess of £20million for the uncapped Dane, who is still very much a work in progress at the age of 25, while the Hammers have been offering around half that figure. Negotiations have led to a position where the two clubs are near to reaching a compromise that will suit both West Ham and the recently-relegated Foxes, who are not without their financial problems in the wake of dropping down to the second tier at the end of last season.

Albian Hajdari

A couple of weeks ago in a previous Fiver, West Ham were reported to have spoken with the Lugano 22-year-old centre half with regards to a move to east London.

While nothing more came of the link, it is understood a deal is still a possibility as a result of the youngster having been frozen out by his current club due to his determination to join a bigger club ahead of next month's transfer deadline. Our source reports clubs rather closer to home - in Germany and Italy, to be specific - are also monitoring the player's position. One to watch, we think, given the purported €5million release clause in his contract.

Idrissa Gueye

Talks are said to be continuing between West Ham and French outfit Metz over one of Ligue 2's shining stars, namely Idrissa Gueye.

The 18-year-old - who scored five goals and provided one assist in 20 appearances for Metz last season - is considered one of the hottest young properties across the channel currently and the Hammers are weighing up whether or not weighing out the €15million would be an appropriate way to distribute a fair portion of Graham Potter's summer war chest. West Ham's recent Senegalese signing, 'Magic' Malick Diouf could potentially influence proceedings if a deal was considered viable.

Alexander Sorloth

The Norwegian striker, formerly of Croydon upstarts Crystal Palace - he was actually an unused substitute in a five-goal thriller at the London Olympic seven years ago - is once again being linked with a return to London - the east side, this time.

Atletico Madrid, the 29-year-old's current employers are said to be prepared to cash in on the striker who is under contract until 2028 despite him weighing in with 24 goals in all competitions last season. While a move from West Ham may seem unlikely, given the recent arrival of Callum Wilson, Head Coach Graham Potter appears keen to play with two in attack this season if pre-season is anything to go by. According to this Spanish source, any offer above €25million would be given serious consideration.

Yves Bissouma

The 28-year-old Mali international, who plays as a defensive midfielder for our good friends Tottenham has attracted interest from various Premier League clubs - of which West Ham are reported to be one.

A bid in the region of £12 million is suggested as a figure likely to persuade Spurs into doing business, although, although the north London side are said to value Bissouma closer to £15million. Almost certainly one that would represent a "last week of the transfer window" move, this may be worth keeping an eye on should other, more favoured targets not transpire.

* With regards to other transfer titbits not previously covered in this column, rumours linking West Ham with a move for Raheem Sterling - which appear to have emanated from TalkSport - have been described as "mischievous and false"; Nayef Aguerd is rumoured to be interesting Italian side 1907 Como, currently managed by former Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fàbregas while Liverpool youngster Ben Doak (pictured above) is reported to have been the subject of an enquiry from West Ham, even though it has been suggested elsewhere that Graham Potter is not seeking to expand his roster of wingers this month - especially those valued north of £20million.

Finally Argentine international midfielder Exequiel Palacios, who is said to have been offered to West Ham earlier this week is understood to be of interest to Graham Potter, although not perhaps at the top of the Head Coach's wish-list. Until tomorrow...
