Tyrese Haliburton Sends 3-Word Message On Social Media

Tyrese Haliburton of the Indiana Pacers has only been off the court for a few months, but that’s been long enough for him.

He is in a tough spot because of a very serious injury, and it may be a long time until he’s playing again.

Haliburton has made it clear that this current period is very hard on him.

Posting on social media, via Legion Hoops, Haliburton wrote, “I miss basketball” with of picture of him on the court during the NBA Finals.

There is no doubt that basketball misses him, too.

Haliburton produced 18.6 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 9.2 assists during the 2024-25 season and was a massive and iconic part of the team’s run through the playoffs and all the way to the Finals.

He pushed his team all the way to Game 7, but sadly, that was when he was hurt, and now he will likely sit out all of 2025-26.

The Pacers will try to get by without him, but there is no doubt that losing Haliburton greatly diminishes their chances of going far in the postseason again.

All Indiana players and fans will attempt to wait patiently for Haliburton’s return, whenever that may be.

When a player is hurt like this, most of the media talk about just how much it’ll harm the team, but the emotional toll it takes isn’t discussed often.

The truth is that this next season will be very difficult for Haliburton because he will be prohibited from doing what he loves most, even though he wants to.

His body cannot be on the court, but his mind obviously is.
