Attacking reinforcements are desperately needed for Wolves before the end of the transfer window, following the sale of Goncalo Guedes.
Wolves were already short-staffed in attack before the announcement of Guedes’ move to Real Sociedad, but now it’s clear a replacement is needed.
Pre-season fixtures exposed a lack of creativity in Wolves’ attack, with just four goals scored in four games and no win.

One winger has popped up in rumours this week, and sources close to Molineux News believe he would be a great fit.
Ben Doak earns comparisons to Adama Traore amid Wolves links
Liverpool’s Ben Doak has attracted interest from many clubs over the past couple of windows, with Crystal Palace and Ipswich Town both having £20 million bids rejected in January.
The 19-year-old has thrived on loan at Middlesbrough, and Wolves’ interest in Doak is real. With Liverpool’s attack pretty established for the new season, a move away may be on the cards.

And transfer expert Graeme Bailey has told Molineux News he could see the Scot doing well at Molineux, saying: “Doak will leave Liverpool this month, whether it’s a loan or permanent. I personally think Doak would be a great fit for Wolves.

“I could see it. I could see him at Molineux, I really could. He’s that Traore-type winger who goes on the outside, which is quite rare these days.”
High praise comparing the youngster to a Wolves fan-favourite.
Wolves won’t be the only club pursuing Ben Doak
For a lad who is yet to turn 20, Doak’s game is well-developed. Last season he managed three goals and seven assists in 24 Championship appearances, as Middlesbrough finished 10th.
Given the quality and production he has shown, it’s no surprise to see teams beginning to circle.
🚨 West Ham and Wolves are among the Premier League sides interested in signing Ben Doak this summer.
Liverpool have already rejected £20M bids from Ipswich and Crystal Palace.

There’s no question Wolves need another attacker. In what’s left of the transfer window, more players could leave Molineux and Vitor Pereira could end up in a world of pain starting the season.
August has never been Wolves’ strongest month, to put it mildly, and if there is no movement from the club in the forward market, fans would have a right to be very worried. Doak would be a popular signing for Wolves, and one they should absolutely pursue.
