Jack Grealish told there is a club he could sign for now that is truly ‘perfect’

Manchester City’s Jack Grealish is still not aware of where he will play his football next season.

The 2025/26 campaign is a huge one due to the World Cup taking place at the end of it, with the goal for many players heading into the new season being to work their way into the plans of their national team for the tournament in North America.

With no future at Man City, Grealish is a player who needs to find a new club before the end of the current transfer window if he has dreams of representing England next summer.

Everton are one club interested in signing Grealish on loan for the 25/26 season; however, pundit Robert Earnshaw believes there is a better fit for the 29-year-old.

Tottenham are the perfect club for Jack Grealish

Following the news of Everton’s interest in the Man City star, Fabrizio Romano revealed that Tottenham enquired about Grealish’s situation, as the North London club can also see a future with the 29-year-old as part of their squad.

Speaking about the winger’s situation at the Etihad Stadium, Sky Sports pundit Robert Earnshaw has stated that Spurs would be the perfect club for Grealish and that Tottenham should look into signing the Englishman on loan with an option to buy next summer.

“Jack Grealish, I think would be absolutely perfect for Tottenham,” Earnshaw said on Sky Sports. “He would fit in. I feel he has his best football still to come. You always feel like Jack Grealish has more to come. He would be perfect.

“Can they get him? That’s the tricky thing, maybe a loan to signing permanently, but I think someone like Jack Grealish would be perfect for Tottenham”

It was reported on Thursday that James Maddison has suffered an ACL injury and will miss several months of action, which could prompt Tottenham to move for Grealish as the Man City star can play as a number 10, in addition to being a wide man.

It remains to be seen how this news will affect Grealish’s future, but there is certainly a strong case for the 29-year-old to move to North London.

How Jack Grealish would fit in at Tottenham

Not only has Maddison’s injury created space for Grealish, but also the departure of Son Heung-min, who has left Tottenham to start a new chapter in MLS.

The South Korean star started his final game against Newcastle last week, while Grealish would be a clear upgrade on the likes of Brennan Johnson and Wilson Odobert, should the Man City star rediscover his best form.

Thomas Frank would also be the perfect manager to help the Englishman achieve this, as the Danish coach would put an arm around the winger and let him be free coming from the left wing.

With Champions League football to offer, there is no doubt that Spurs would appeal to Grealish, but it is not in the 29-year-old’s hands, as only time will tell if the former Aston Villa star gets an offer from North London.
