Leeds United, Burnley, and Sunderland face the unlikely challenge of surviving in the Premier League.
Over the last two seasons, all six promoted sides have suffered relegation at the first attempt, with the Peacocks one of those teams.
Leeds drew with Man United during pre-season as Daniel Farke got a taste of what could be to come next term.
Now, a former United star has issued a prediction on the Peacocks’ upcoming Premier League campaign, which will not go down well.

Owen Hargreaves believes Leeds United will be relegated
Former player Robbie Fowler has already predicted Leeds to be relegated, which is an easy assumption to make.

However, the summer transfer window has altered people’s thoughts, given the business carried out by the promoted trio.
Indeed, Sunderland have beaten Leeds to many signings, including Habib Diarra, Noah Sadiki, and Reinildo.
Now, former Red Devils midfielder Hargreaves has predicted Farke’s side to finish bottom of the pile for TNT Sports (5 August).
The former England international believes that Burnley will finish one place above Leeds, while Sunderland are tipped to finish in 18th.

Leeds can prove Hargreaves wrong
Nobody can blame pundits for predicting Leeds to be relegated, given what has happened to the promoted sides over the last few years.
However, this summer they have done their business early, and more importantly, have bolstered key areas.
Lucas Perri signed from Lyon as Farke’s new number one and should be an upgrade on Illan Meslier.
Elsewhere, Leeds have signed Lucas Nmecha, although another new striker would significantly boost their survival hopes.

What matters most is that the Peacocks were the best side in the Championship last season, and they will be confident.
Indeed, this could be the time when at least one of the promoted sides proves the doubters wrong.
