Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly identified Chelsea outcast David Datro Fofana as a potential transfer target.
The West Midlands outfit remain active in the market having only been able to acquire three fresh faces ahead of the new Premier League campaign.
A right wing-back is known to be a priority with Wolves having been shunned by several players for that position in recent weeks.
However, Vitor Pereira is also eager to add to his forward line in order to provide competition for Jorgen Strand Larsen with the futures of Hwang Hee-chan and Sasa Kalajdzic up in the air.
According to The Times, consideration is being given to making a formal approach for out-of-favour Datro Fofana.

What is David Datro Fofana situation?
The report suggests that Wolves may enquire about the possibility of signing the Ivorian on a permanent or temporary basis.
A knee injury has prevented the 22-year-old from making a competitive appearance since December, when he was loan at Goztepe.
He featured for just 282 in the Turkish Super Lig, contributing two goals from three starts and six substitute appearances.
Datro Fofana has since recovered from his knee injury and has been made available for transfer by Chelsea, the West Londoners likely to be open to all possibilities when he has only ever represented them four times and not since 2023.
On the back of arriving at Stamford Bridge in January 2023, Datro Fofana has made just 25 starts and 20 substitute outings for Chelsea, Union Berlin, Burnley and Goztepe.
Eight goals have been scored during that time by a player who can play across the forward line.

How would Wolves fans react?
While Datro Fofana has shown flashes of quality in the past, Wolves fans want players who are capable of hitting the ground running given the quality that has left the club.
If a loan deal is negotiated, there may be an acceptance that it is a suitable transaction, but Datro Fofana remains raw at this level of football.
Prior to signing for Goztepe last season, he had been on his way to AEK Athens before that transfer broke down, and it arguably emphasises that being thrust into Premier League action is not the best move when he needs regular football.
