Further details have emerged about Manchester United's move to sign RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko.
United have been heavily linked with signing the Slovenia international over the last few weeks, with the Reds having confidence that a deal could be agreed with the Bundesliga outfit. News emerged on Thursday that United have agreed a deal with Leipzig to sign Sesko this summer.
Sesko has also been a player of interest to Newcastle, but United have seemingly won the race for the striker's signature. A £74million bid including add-ons was made by United earlier this week, with Sesko closing in on a move to Old Trafford ahead of the start of the new Premier League season.
The Manchester Evening News reported on Wednesday that United are confident the forward prefers a move to Amorim's side over Newcastle.
Since news broke of United agreeing a deal for Sesko, updates have regularly emerged in the media giving further details on the deal. One such update has come from Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg.
His report has claimed that Sesko has agreed to 'waive' a portion of his wage at United in order to help make the move possible, with the Slovenia international having been offered a more lucrative salary package by Newcstle. It has not been stated how much of Sesko's salary will be waived, if the report turns out to be accurate.
It has also been claimed in the same report that Sesko's agency, led by Elvis Basanovic, have waived some of their commission from the deal in order to get the transfer over the line.
Should United get a deal over the line for Sesko, he would become the third new attacking signing of the summer to be added to Ruben Amorim's squad. United have already signed Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo, while they completed a deal earlier this year to bring defender Diego Leon to Old Trafford.
