Everton will be hoping to get back on track when they take on Roma on Saturday.
Everton have failed to win any of their five pre-season games so far, losing three and drawing two, which has left supporters worried.
The Toffees’ most recent friendly was a 2-2 draw against Manchester United (3 August), with the Blues coming from behind twice to take a draw.
As a result, David Moyes will be looking to improve his team’s fate when they host Roma at the Hill Dickinson Stadium (9 August).

However, against a different kind of challenge in Roma, a fuller Blues squad could cause the Italian giants problems.

Team News
The Toffees welcomed James Tarkowski back against West Ham after the defender spent three months on the sidelines.
The 32-year-old could again feature against Roma, with Moyes eager to get his side back to full fitness ahead of their first Premier League game against Leeds in less than two weeks’ time.
Fellow centre-back Jarred Branthwaite is still absent, as he isn’t expected to feature until after the September international break after picking up an injury earlier in the summer.
New signing Thierno Barry could start, with Moyes asking for more from Beto in the forward department.

Prediction: Everton 2-1 Roma
The Blues have had plenty of defensive woes during preseason, having conceded nine in four games.
It is expected that these issues could persist against Roma, but with new players bedding in and Moyes set to line up with a side more closely aligned with his first-team, supporters could see some progression.
Barry has an opportunity to wow supporters with his goalscoring ability, and he could help Moyes’ side come away with a more convincing 2-1 win.
Either way, Saturday’s friendly could either be an eye-opener as to how much business the Blues still need to do, or could showcase that they are heading in the right direction.
