Leeds United will be in the market for new faces as the Premier League opener draws closer. Daniel Farke has already complained that the team needs some quality in attack.
The club have failed to find a player to replace Manor Solomon, who was a huge influence on the team last season as a loanee. One area of the squad that seems set is the goalkeeping position. Daniel Farke has his new number one after Leeds spent on Lyon goalkeeper Lucas Perri.

But there now lies the dilemma that there are too many keepers in the first team. Premier League rules say that only 25 first team players can be registered for the season. Most clubs go with three goalkeepers in their lists, which means that one keeper is expected to leave soon.
Since Perri’s position in the first team is clear, one of Karl Darlow, Illan Meslier or Alex Cairns will possibly leave the club this summer.

After looking in the market for a new keeper, West Ham have finally found one. According to Sky Sports’ Rob Dorsett, the Hammers have agreed a deal with Leicester City for keeper Mads Hermansen.
Excl: #whufc have agreed an £18m fee with #lcfc for goalkeeper Mads Hermansen. He will travel to London now for a medical and discuss personal terms. Deal looked dead last week, when Hammers courted Botafogo keeper John Victor, but Hermansen always Potter’s first choice.

The keeper will now travel to London for a medical and to discuss personal terms. But it now looks like West Ham’s deal for Botafogo keeper John Victor is now dead in the water.
Door open for Leeds United exit
With Hermansen set to leave the Foxes, the door is now open for Illan Meslier to leave too.
Ben Jacobs reported earlier that the Leeds United stopper was one of the keepers Leicester had their eye on in the scenario where Mads Hermansen left the club. So there is a chance that the Frenchman finally gets his way to leave Elland Road this summer.
Meslier leaving is for the best
If the move does go through for Illan Meslier, then best wishes to him. He has served his time at the club, and was a very good keeper for the most of it. But at his age and the season he has had, a new environment is the best for him.
