Vitor Pereira is hoping to get some more new faces through the door before Wolves’ first Premier League game with Manchester City in just over a week.
It has been a tricky window so far for Wolves and realistically, with the way things have gone, it’s likely some deals that Wolves do will take place towards the very end of the window.
It’s just three players in so far, with Fer Lopez, Jhon Arias and David Moller Wolfe all arriving at Molineux from overseas clubs.

The hope is that each of them will hit the ground running as soon as possible.
But Vitor Pereira still wants players for other positions. A new right wing-back is crucial, while Pereira also wants another central midfielder and a forward who leads the line and can play out wide.
It was recently reported that Wolves had an interest in French winger Maghnes Akliouche.
There has today been an update on the Frenchman. And it could actually end up presenting an interesting opportunity for Wolves.

It has been reported today by Florian Plettenberg that AS Monaco star Akliouche is currently a top target for Bayer Leverkusen.

He wrote on X: “Maghnes #Akliouche remains the dream target for Bayer 04 Leverkusen and sits top of the list for a new high-class winger, as previously revealed.
“Talks between Leverkusen and his camp are ongoing. Akliouche has also been approved by Erik ten Hag.
“There is hope for a deal with Monaco worth around €50 million. Leverkusen are working on it.”
Akliouche impressed last season, after scoring seven goals and making 12 assists across all competitions in 2024/25.

The talented 23-year-old appears primed for a move this summer.
But despite interest from Wolves, it seems he will be out of the club’s budget at £43 million.
It is a bit of a shame, because Akliouche is a real talent. Indeed, Breaking The Lines said of him in 2023: “He reminds you of the reasons why you fell in love with the game, he shifts momentum in an effortless way akin to players of yesteryear who placed skill above the dogmatism of athleticism that dominates the modern game.”
Wolves fans really liked the idea of a move for Akliouche, but it is simply not the kind of money Wanderers pay for players any more.
However, a move to Leverkusen for Akliouche could actually help Wolves with another transfer deal.
Akliouche to Bayer Leverkusen could help Wolves sign Amine Adli
In recent weeks, Wolves have been credited with an interest in Amine Adli.
It was claimed that Wolves had made a concrete offer for Adli, who is open to leaving the German club this summer.

Marseille also want Adli, and West Ham have also been linked, so there is competition for Wolves.
But a move to Leverkusen for Akliouche potentially opens the door for Wolves to swoop for Adli, since the Frenchman plays in similar positions to the Moroccan.
If Leverkusen sign him, this might aid Wolves’ pursuit of Adli, who has apparently been valued at around £26 million.
