Leeds United have identified Ben Doak as a potential target this summer ahead of the new season.
After Leeds’ failed pursuit of Igor Paixao, Daniel Farke is still in the market for a winger.
Liverpool’s Doak has emerged as a potential contender, with the youngster showing plenty of potential.
Leeds have reportedly expressed interest in Doak ahead of a potential move this summer.
If successful, the Scotsman could prove to be an exciting signing.

Michael Owen leads praise on Ben Doak
For Leeds fans who aren’t aware of who Doak is, the Scottish international is seen as one of the best upcoming players in the UK.
Michael Owen has led the charge on praising the 19-year-old, telling TNT Sports via Rousing the Kop on 21 September 2023: “He’s excited a lot of the staff at Liverpool.
“He’s an aggressive, hard-working type of player, plays quite a mature game. Doak coming on for Salah earlier on in the season just shows what Jurgen Klopp thinks of him.”
This was quickly followed up by Kenny Daglish, who told The Scotsman on 10 October 2023 that Doak has “got a lot of things going for him.”

The winger spent the 2024/25 campaign on loan to Middlesbrough and won the EFL Young Player of the Month for November

Since then, the winger has only continued to improve and had another impressive loan spell at Middlesbrough last season.
This prompted another comment, this time from Steve McManaman on 2 March via the Aldo Meets Podcast.
He said: “We brought Ben Doak down and he was the little skilful dribbler, and he’s going to be a great player, and he’s doing really well at Middlesbrough.”

Leeds should pay the £20m for Ben Doak
Reportedly, Liverpool only want £20 million for the winger this summer, despite rejecting similar offers for Doak in January.
Given the raw potential of the youngster, Leeds should not think twice about matching this demand.

The winger could be an excellent option for Farke going into the new season and would help add extra quality in their depth.
On top of this, the 19-year-old will count as a homegrown player, which would help with registration issues in the future.
