Crystal Palace have completed the signing of highly-rated young midfielder Lola Brown on a season-long loan deal from Chelsea.
WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Eagles this afternoon.
The 17-year-old midfielder joined Chelsea’s academy in the 2019/2020 season and she has successfully forced her way onto the fringes of the senior squad. Brown signed her first professional terms with the South West Londoners last November while she made a small number of first team appearances for the club in 2024/2025.
On the international stage, Brown has represented England up to and including Under-19 level.
The player is very much one for the future at Chelsea and she will now further her development with Crystal Palace in the short-term.
After adding Brown to her squad, Crystal Palace boss Jo Potter said “We are delighted to welcome Lola to Crystal Palace. She is an exciting young player who brings a fantastic energy to our squad, and we are looking forward to helping her continue her development this season.”
Brown is Crystal Palace’s second signing of the summer transfer window. The Eagles are expected to make several further additions before the new Barclays WSL2 season gets underway in September.
