Report: Man City now want to sign 'unstoppable' Man United target who Ruben Amorim is a big fan …

Considering the disappointing seasons both clubs endured, Manchester City and Manchester United will perhaps be looking to further bolster their respective squads before deadline day.

Taking into account the business Liverpool and Arsenal have done this summer, the last thing Pep Guardiola would want is for City to be left behind their domestic rivals.

Guardiola is eyeing the Premier League title and going two seasons without spearheading the Sky Blues to domestic glory would upset a serial winner like the Catalan tactician.

As for the red half of the city, Manchester United could sign Benjamin Sesko while having already brought in Diego Leon, Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo as the Red Devils seem to be in full support of Ruben Amorim.

The decision-makers at Manchester City and United have made moves this summer that leave them in good stead for the upcoming campaign.

However, perhaps both sets of supporters will be hoping that before the summer transfer window draws to a close, a fresh face or two is signed to further boost their chances of having a season to remember.

Pep Guardiola and Ruben Amorim are believed to be huge admirers of Baleba, who named Kevin De Bruyne as his idol.

If the Cameroonian wonderkid leaves Brighton this summer, his former club Lille are expected to earn 20 per cent from the fee he is sold for.
